American Society of Mammalogists (ASM) - Grants & Fellowships
Grants and fellowships support graduate student members of the ASM engaged in research in any area of mammalogy to assist them in the early development of their careers. Three awards are offered:
American Society of Mammalogists Fellowship in Mammalogy is open to graduate students worldwide. Award amount: $10,000. Deadline: May 1, 2019.
Albert R. and Alma Shadle Fellowship in Mammalogy is for graduate students enrolled at a college or university in the United States. Award amount: $4,000-$4,500. Deadline: May 1, 2019.
Grants-in-Aid of Research are open to graduate students worldwide for the support of field or laboratory work, including the purchase of supplies and equipment. Award amount: Up to $1,500. Deadline: March 1, 2019.
- Must be student members of the ASM.
- Must be enrolled in a graduate program at a college or university and focusing on mammalogy.
- May be of any nationality.
